STEEL DETAILER / CHECKER

Monday – Thursday, half-day on Friday

6 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm; 6 : 30 am - 12 : 00 pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Communicate with the Project Manager and Production to ensure the highest quality product in the most efficient manner.
  • Accommodate the customer in a way that ensures the relationship and increases reliability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in Structural Steel estimating.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in Computer skills, such as Word, Excel, AutoCad, and Strumis.
  • Experience in SDS2 is a plus.
  • Produce complete sets of structural drawings (Erection drawings and detailed Fabrication drawings).
  • Check and coordinate steel drawings with other trades.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and contract plans.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the steel industry.
