Security Officer Unarmed Financial Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Unarmed Financial Patrol Specialist in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for clients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Tuesday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Thursday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Friday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Saturday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and / or authorities as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and / or escort duties as needed.
  • Follow all instructions and protocols provided by Allied Universal and the client site to support a secure and welcoming environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
