Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Louisville, Kentucky. Responsibilities :

Perform and oversee month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and general ledger entries.

Manage cash flow activities, ensuring proper forecasting and allocation.

Create and post journal entries with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Conduct detailed account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze, organize, and report financial information.

Collaborate on special projects related to financial improvements and operational efficiency.

Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures while identifying areas for optimization.

Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed.

Requirements :

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Proficiency in managing general ledger activities and posting journal entries.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and related responsibilities.

Solid understanding of cash flow management and forecasting techniques.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
