At CESO, a Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical assignments utilizing the application of standard engineering design techniques for small to large projects. You will have primary responsibilities that include :
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead projects / programs from concept through completion
- Performs calculations, designs advanced building systems, and prepares design documents in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines
- Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications
- Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects
- Apply local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensures the production of drawings, specifications, calculations, and other analysis meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
- Communicate design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to determine scope and feasibility
- Visits project sites to verify existing conditions and / or observe construction progress
- Attend internal and external meetings
- Responsible for all junior Engineers under direct supervision and take ownership of the success and ongoing growth of team members
- Other project duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering from ABET accredited college and 10+ years of relevant experienceProfessional Engineering (PE) License is requiredExperience managing an electrical engineering teamAdvanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standardsExperience creating and maintaining engineering standards and toolsAdvanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Microsoft Office Suite and other common softwareBenefits and Perks
