This position is in Huntsville, AL and supports the Nuclear-Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get to Do :

• Manage flight system integration of multiple subsystems
• Work closely with IPT counterparts to perform flight system trade studies and support critical early program systems engineering and programmatic stand-up
• Control Account Manager (CAM) for multiple Tier-2 suppliers
• Support and monitor technical performance baselines, to compare key subcontract technical performance measures, assess execution status, and take appropriate action to maintain conformance with the baseline
• Identify and address impacts through a systematic and proactive approach to Risk and Opportunity Management
• Communicate, monitor, and promptly resolve issues across all functional elements within the SMT, including the supplier
• Manage and balance communications with stakeholders through organized and disciplined processes ensuring that Subcontract information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets Sub-contract, and stakeholder needs while protecting the company's contractual rights
• Effectively plan, define, establish, communicate, monitor, and control scope to ensure that all the work required and only the work required, is performed.
• Address subcontract uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling, manages, and communicates risks and opportunities throughout the life cycle of the Subcontract.
• As CAM, oversee and provide financial control and maintenance of budgets including EVMS metrics (specifically IPMDAR evaluation and reviewing leading / lagging metrics and how they can be applied to performance management) and Variance Explanations as a Control Account Manager for your supplier
• Interprets schedules from suppliers to understand impact on program schedule and milestones. Key leader in developing and reviewing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs). Develops and maintains Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Reviews supplier proposal responses, including performing technical evaluations, reviewing supplier Basis of Estimates (BOEs), overall proposal quality reviews, and attending proposal related reviews.
