Stormwater Operations Technician

Under general supervision, this position provides maintenance and repair support for stormwater operations. Posted pay range is the starting salary. Pay rate offered is based on experience.

Examples Of Duties

• Provides technical support in consultation with crew leaders on site plans, utility reviews, and locations; performs inspections; ensures an adequate supply of inventories of all parts and equipment.
• Transports equipment and sets up safety zones; instructs staff for job preparation; fixes problems and handles maintenance; cleans up tools, job sites, and safety equipment.
• Checks and maintains equipment, to include fueling; restocks inventory, parts, and supplies.
• Monitors completion of daily assignments.
• Assists crew leader with administrative duties.

Experience And Training

Certificates And Licenses Required

This position requires you to have or acquire a commercial driver's license (CDL). Federal law requires all CDL holders register with the USDOT Clearinghouse before operating a commercial vehicle. You will be required to enroll in the clearinghouse and sign a consent form allowing the City to run your name through the clearinghouse as a condition of employment.
