This position is full-time and involves project management and design oversight for architectural / building design and construction projects across the airport campus, with anticipated contract value over the next ten years exceeding $1 billion. Roles include management of consultants and contractors, design oversight, procurement support, construction monitoring and oversight, coordination of tenants, business partners and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret technical data, reports, specifications, and engineering and architectural plans for facilities at a commercial air carrier airport
- Prepare, evaluate, monitor, and maintain complex operating budgets and capital program budgets
- Plan, organize and direct work on complex projects involving building infrastructure and systems; promote consensus and negotiate favorable outcomes
- Research current and future trends to establish programs for existing and new buildings
- Create and meet schedules and deadlines of the work
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
- Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of ten years of experience on large-scale projectsAt least 3 years of the experience should be at a large to mid-size airportExperience in project management and design oversight for architectural / building design and construction projectsAbility to manage consultants and contractors, oversee design, support procurement, monitor construction, and coordinate with tenants, business partners and other departmentsSkills and Abilities
