job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCPA designation in good standing. Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program. Minimum 5+ years of progressive tax and management experience in a small to mid-sized public accounting firm, ideally with a mid-market focus. Proven hands-on experience in both compliance and advisory engagements. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities. Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage tax compliance and planning engagements for a diverse portfolio of mid-market clients across various industries.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients including corporate reorganizations, estate and succession planning, and cross-border tax matters.
- Review complex tax returns and deliver high-quality tax solutions that align with client objectives.
- Collaborate with partners and other managers to ensure exceptional client service.
- Mentor and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring ongoing development and performance management.
- Stay up to date with current tax legislation and industry trends to ensure clients receive relevant and effective advice.
- Work closely with the firm’s partners on strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.
