About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years of previous Stepdown experience required.

License : Current license in state of Iowa

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Completed at least 1 travel contract

Description :

This position offers same day interviews.

Prepare qualified candidates for potential interviews.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the market.

The patient ratio is 1 : 5.

Patient population includes CHF, cardiac angiogram before and after care, ablation, pacemaker, TEE, cardioversion, stroke, and management of cardiac drips.

Drips include Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nifedipine, Heparin, and Lidocaine.

Titration of drips is required.

Weekends will be every other weekend.

This position requires working 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).

There is a limit of 1 day request off between certain holiday periods for all travelers.
