Role Overview

We seek a Space Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer within the Space Protection Programs organization. This role offers the chance to perform critical work, develop your potential, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems integration and test execution efforts
• Develop and review test artifacts
• Oversee subsystem and system-level testing
• Document test results and discrepancies
• Lead test anomaly investigations and troubleshooting
• Synthesize test plans considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Perform testing according to specifications and standards
• Assist with hardware / software interface solutions
• Ensure system integration through test execution
• Coordinate testing activities with support teams
• Brief test status and discrepancies to stakeholders
• Support a fast-paced, possibly 24 / 7 environment, including travel

Qualifications

Basic : Bachelor's in engineering or related experience; ability to lead teams; knowledge of assembly, test, launch operations; active TS / SCI clearance.

Desired : 5+ years in engineering or 3+ with a Master's; experience as a test conductor in space vehicle programs; familiarity with electrical test equipment; scripting skills (Python, etc.); experience in space vehicle test operations; strong communication and teamwork skills; understanding of systems thinking.
