Overview
Provide user support for financial software applications and ensure stability of Private banking and wealth management systems, tools, and applications. Utilize data-driven approaches for website performance, improve IT operations, and adopt Site Reliability Engineering methodologies for predictive issue identification.
Responsibilities
- Provide user support for financial software applications and ensure stability of Private banking and wealth management systems, tools, and applications.
- Provide data-driven solutions for website performance and improve IT operations; implement predictive issue identification with Site Reliability Engineering methods.
- Use Access Matrix and Hardware Security Module software for multifactor authentication and cybersecurity of applications.
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and resolve or devise workarounds for user-facing and batch issues that the help desk and level 1 teams cannot resolve.
- Setup, configure, and create domains for applications with middleware tools such as WebSphere and WebLogic.
- Assist with user inquiries on data and provide complex queries to business users using Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, and Microsoft SQL.
- Participate in software release deployments and perform technical / business checkouts; execute production controls for disaster recovery plans while maintaining alerts and monitoring for critical applications.
- Communicate complex technical issues to business users; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders; use Papyrus software for document and data analysis and integration with IT infrastructure.
- Complete end-to-end application setup and configuration of infrastructure from inception to go-live.
- Assist with website onboarding for financial domains, regulatory projects, and software upgrades as per market standards.
- Leverage knowledge of handling application data, information security practices, and risk-aware processes for integrations.
- Partner with development and Citi infrastructure teams for mobile performance engineering initiatives.
- Implement application monitoring solutions and tools to proactively monitor health and business transactions.
- Create programs to automate manual touch points, scheduling batches, and setting up critical application and environment monitoring using tools such as ITRS, Unix / Linux shell scripting, uDeploy, and AppDynamics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Applications Support Analyst, Systems Support Analyst, Technology Analyst, or related position in banking services domain.5 years of experience with : Access Matrix; Hardware Security Module for secure administration, authentication, and authorization; Papyrus software for document / data analysis and IT integration; Middleware administration for Web servers to set up application domains; Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, Microsoft SQL; Unix shell scripting and Python for automating deployment / monitoring tasks; Geneos ITRS, IBM UrbanCode Deploy, and AppDynamics for proactive monitoring and self-healing infrastructure.At least 4 years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering methodologies to enhance website performance and predictive issue identification.Applicants submit resumes at https : / / jobs.citi.com / .
