Job Title : Commercial Litigation Attorney (Plaintiff-Side)

Location : Hybrid (Onsite 4 days / week, Flexible Friday), Brooklyn, New York

Contract Type : Temporary (3-Month Assignment, Potential for Extension)

Pay Rate : $45-$70 / hr depending on experience

Firm Overview :

Our firm is a plaintiff-side practice working with a major client, a prominent collection agency. We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least three years of experience to join our team on a temporary, hybrid basis. The attorney will work onsite at the clients office in Brooklyn with another attorney and a support team of two paralegals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Draft motions, including motions for summary judgment.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Provide legal support in the form of backup to the senior attorney, including case strategy discussions and document preparation.
• Engage in occasional client communication to provide updates and clarify legal matters.
• Review and apply civil procedure rules in daily work.
