Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $19.38 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

  • Tue 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Thur 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
  • Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must possess a valid Georgia Armed Security Professional License.
  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
