Litigation Paralegal
Established (100+ years) Premier Firm Seeking Litigation Paralegals in Alexandria and Fredericksburg, VA
An established Virginia-based law firm with over 100 years in practice is seeking two Litigation Paralegals with 3-5 years of civil litigation experience in Virginia's General District and Circuit Courts to join their teams in Alexandria and Fredericksburg, VA . These positions focus on personal injury cases proceeding to litigation , supporting attorneys with court filings, case preparation, and trial readiness .
Litigation experience is the priority; candidates with strong trial experience from plaintiff or defense backgrounds (including family law) will be considered
Offer :
Hourly range : $28-$36 / hour, commensurate with experience

Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal or litigation legal assistant
Experience with litigation in Virginia's civil courts required
Plaintiff personal injury preferred but not required
Proficiency with motions, discovery, evidence, and Virginia civil court procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Experience with case management software; Filevine preferred
Paralegal associate degree or certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities :
Gather and analyze information related to personal injury claims
Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents with Virginia courts
Maintain and organize electronic client files
Calendar and track all hearings, deadlines, and litigation schedules
Support attorneys through every phase of the litigation process
