We’re currently looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to help ensure our operations meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability. What You’ll Do

Program Development & Compliance

Design, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.

Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations.

Recommend and implement engineering controls, administrative measures, and PPE solutions to eliminate or reduce hazards.

Audits & Inspections

Lead regular site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to identify unsafe conditions and environmental risks.

Develop corrective action plans and track closure to ensure timely resolution.

Incident Management

Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.

Maintain accurate records and prepare regulatory reports as required.

Training & Engagement

Deliver engaging EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and leadership.

Facilitate safety committees and employee engagement initiatives to build a strong safety culture.

Environmental Stewardship

Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.

Support corporate sustainability goals and reporting requirements.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze EHS performance metrics and drive initiatives to achieve year-over-year improvements.

Stay current with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

What You Bring

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EHS management systems a plus.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (preferred). Associate degree or equivalent experience considered.

1–3 years in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.

OSHA 30 required; CSP, ASP, or CHMM preferred.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
