Logistics Specialist

Job Summary :

The Final Mile Associate who under general supervision, provides a variety of administrative and operational support to include oversight of daily unload and staging activities, ensuring all trash and recycling are properly disposed of on a daily basis, monitoring of routes throughout the day and management of return product and documentation associated with that product. This role plays a critical part in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in logistics operations, inventory management, and communication with drivers and customers.

Duties / Responsibilities :

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Answer inbound calls from customers and delivery teams;
• Monitor group emails to ensure customer and other stakeholders are receiving timely responses;
• Route delivery auditing;
• Monitor unload teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy of damage reporting and staging of product.
• Ensure product handling practices are followed by anyone handling the customers products.
• Monitors all returns and ensures they are documented and protected properly when sending back to the customer.
• Creates and sends out daily reports as needed;
• Sends out damage and return reports;
• Routing and scheduling tasks;
• Other duties as assigned.
