Are you ready to grow with us? Position Summary Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented experienced auditing professional with strong leadership and accounting skills. This role is contingent upon award of contract. This position requires an active Secret clearance. Responsibilities Provide the first line of supervision to a team of audit professionals Review work products prepared by the team, including workpapers, findings, reports, and other deliverables, to ensure quality and consistency with auditing standards and firm guidelines Leverage understanding of Government Auditing Standards to design audit plans and procedures and oversee their execution Self-starter, takes initiative to deliver quality work products to the client with little direction Supervise and review work performed by other staff Develop people through effectively delegating tasks and guiding staff Provide subject matter technical expertise to delivery team in financial management areas of financial reporting, internal control, and / or financial business systems Review draft deliverables and present final results to management Assist Principals and Senior Managers in proposals, business development, and practice administration Leverage technology, including data analysis tools and AI, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of audit procedures Advise and consult with Principals on significant developments Act as primary liaison to the client and keep Principals informed of major developments Share knowledge with team members, develop skills, and continually learn What you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree required. Information Systems degree preferred Minimum 10 years of auditing and / or related technical experience Minimum interim or active Secret clearance Management / Leadership experience Strong customer service skills Project management experience CISA preferred Experience performing SOC 1 or SOC 2 audits strongly preferred Familiarity with FISCAM and / or FISMA frameworks acceptable Excellent verbal and written communications skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Knowledge in the following areas is preferred FASAB Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards GAO Government Auditing Standards (GAS) AICPA AU-Cs GAO / FAM, GAO FISCAM OMB Bulletin 24-02, Audit Requirements for Federal Financial Statements Other federal reporting and accounting requirements (OMB bulletins, USSGL, etc.) Specific traits required Servant Leader – engage employees, foster development, and build a positive culture Solutions Focus – identify opportunities and implement solutions Collaborative – build relationships across the organization Trustworthy – act with integrity and follow through Impact & Influence Thinker – gain support for ideas and initiatives About Sikich Sikich is a global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services.
