PeopleTec is currently seeking a Sim Architect / VV&A to support our Huntsville, AL location.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and executing complex IAMD simulations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in simulation development, verification and validation (V&V), and test planning, preferably within a joint military environment. This role requires a deep understanding of digital and live / virtual / constructive (LVC) simulation testbeds and the ability to thrive in an Agile development environment.

Duties

• Design, develop, and implement high-fidelity IAMD simulations using appropriate modeling and simulation tools and techniques.
• Lead and participate in all phases of the simulation lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and execute comprehensive V&V plans to ensure simulation accuracy, credibility, and validity. This includes defining metrics, conducting tests, analyzing results, and documenting findings.
• Create and maintain detailed Modeling and Simulation Support Plans (MSSPs) outlining the simulation architecture, data requirements, test procedures, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure the simulation meets user requirements and supports program objectives.
• Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Develop and execute test plans for both digital and LVC simulation testbeds, including hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and software-in-the-loop (SWIL) testing.
• Analyze simulation results and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Document simulation design, development, and testing activities.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in modeling and simulation technologies and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
