Facility Administrator

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and to create an atmosphere that promotes high quality, caring, customer focused, cost-effective healthcare to the community. The Facility Admin provides clear direction and expectations to the clinical and office staff regarding the functional areas in which they work. The Facility Admin ensures all aspects of compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures that the facility meets licensing and accreditation standards. The Facility Admin is responsible to ensure that the quality programs are carried out as required by policies and procedures. He / she works closely with the physician leadership. The Admin is responsible for leading, educating and directing staff and to optimize the potential of each employee. He / she assumes fiscal accountability through budgetary oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Nurse with current Texas license without sanctions, required
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Strong skills in both oral and written format
• Management and leadership skills
• Must be flexible and service oriented
• Problem solving abilities with the ability to intervene immediately and awareness of changing conditions that may require additional assistance, (Critical-thinking)
• Customer focused
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for health care facilities
