Ohio Nursing Job Details Location : Columbus, OH 43210 Healthcare Setting : Oncology Immediate Care Center & Emergency Department Employment Type : Travel RN Contract Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,720 - $1,770 per week Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Unit Size : 14 beds Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience Experience with EPIC charting system required Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Certifications : BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Ability to float between ICC and ED units as needed Two professional references required (one from a manager / director or supervisor; second may be a Charge RN) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with diverse diagnoses, including sickle cell crisis, fever, abdominal pain, anemia, and dehydration Administer blood products, emergency medications, and IV vasopressors Perform central line care / management, CPAP / BiPAP, and phlebotomy Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG / ECG Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response Float between ICC and ED units to meet patient care demands Build strong relationships with patients and staff in a supportive unit environment Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Columbus, Ohio and make an impact in a renowned healthcare setting.
