Tennessee Licensed Deputy General Counsel

A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities :

Serve as a key resource on complex legal issues and manage litigation and investigations

Review and approve law firm engagement letters and manage interactions with law firms

Supervise a team of lawyers and staff, fostering a culture of integrity and collaboration

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education :

Doctorate of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from an accredited law school

15+ years of experience in multiple specialized areas of law

Significant experience in legal strategy development and operational management

Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

License to practice law in the State of Tennessee required within nine months of hire
