About the Role

As a PRSC , you’ll play a key role in helping residents thrive emotionally and socially by coordinating their individualized psychiatric rehabilitation services. You’ll build therapeutic relationships, guide residents through their treatment plans, and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create a supportive and empowering environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (e.g., sociology, psychology, special education, or rehabilitation counseling).

At least one year of supervised experience in mental health or human services.

A heart for service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as a trusted advocate and point of contact for residents in your caseload.

Help residents feel at home by orienting them to our facility and supporting them through treatment planning and review.

Facilitate care plan meetings, coordinate services, and monitor progress.

Deliver or coordinate psychiatric rehab programming—including 1 : 1 counseling, skills training, and group activities.

Collaborate with families, staff, and community resources to meet residents' social and emotional needs.

Your Day-to-Day May Include

Creating and maintaining documentation in compliance with regulations.

Coordinating with the IDT and participating in interdisciplinary meetings.

Supporting and guiding Rehabilitation Aides.

Responding to resident needs with patience, empathy, and professional insight.

Playing a key role in surveys and inspections.
