Job Description

• Ensure that all shipped products meet customer requirements, scheduling needs, and technical specifications.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts related to inspection equipment and quality control processes.
• Manage and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis, 8D reporting, tracking metrics, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Support quality-related investigations and implement responsive and proactive solutions to improve products and processes.
• Maintain and improve documentation of work processes; support the training and onboarding of quality procedures.
• Oversee calibration scheduling and documentation for all measuring and test equipment.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits; assist in QMS improvement initiatives.
• Review and disposition First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and confirm compliance with internal and customer-specific requirements.
• Revise procedures as needed based on nonconformance investigations, CAPA results, customer complaints, or ongoing continuous improvement projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer should have :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, or Product Engineering.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience conducting internal and external quality audits.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; customer- and safety-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with quality management software tools.
