We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Cost Accountant to join our growing team. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in cost accounting, manufacturing, and financial analysis to play a pivotal role in our organization's financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex cost analyses, managing the general ledger, and providing accurate monthly reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of cost accounting principles, SAP, and inventory analysis.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct and oversee regular cost analyses, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.

2. Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.

3. Prepare and present monthly reporting, providing detailed insights into financial performance.

4. Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reconciled.

5. Manage Bill Of Materials, ensuring accurate costing and inventory levels.

6. Conduct thorough inventory analysis, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.

7. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand cost drivers and suggest cost-effective solutions.

8. Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.

9. Assist in the development of internal control policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

10. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing detailed reports.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in SAP and other financial software.

4. Strong knowledge of managing the general ledger and the month-end / year-end close process.

5. Experience with cost accounting, calculating Bill Of Materials, and inventory analysis.

6. Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

10. CMA or CPA certification is a plus.
