Association Lending Specialist
Location : TBD (Oklahoma) Position requires frequent travel across Oklahoma AgCredit's branch network Reports to : Chief Business Development Officer Closing Date : 9 / 29 / 2025 Grade and Salary commensurate with experience The Association Lending Specialist (ALS) supports Oklahoma AgCredit's branch operations by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support across multiple locations. This position is designed to provide coverage during staff absences, including vacations, medical leave, and other temporary gaps. The ALS will travel extensively to assigned branches, ensuring continuity of service and operational efficiency. In addition to branch-level responsibilities, the ALS will work closely with each of the four Regional Vice Presidents to coordinate staffing needs and coverage plans across the Association. The ALS will also be responsible for training and mentoring new Lending Specialists.
Position Responsibilities :
- Identifies LS training needs
- Designs training program
- Executes training to ensure Lending Specialists are properly trained to perform the above list of responsibilities
- Mentors new Lending Specialists after their initial training
- Provides support and assistance for the association's lending specialist team
- Acts as a resource for Lending Specialists across the association to assist in daily duties
Loan Servicing and Closing
Imports loan documents into electronic filing software OnBasePrints, mails or emails lending documents to various departments or customersEnsures timely completion and scanning of filings, OnBase and post- / pre-close signed documents to borrowersReviews legal documents before sending to collateral custodianSends delinquency letters to customersCoordinates with insurance specialist on borrower insurance and filingsPrepares mortgage releases after payoff is receivedPrepares Loan Servicing Documents, Books Process and OnBaseOrganizes, interprets and verifies legal descriptions and abstractsCustomer Service / teller / daily reports when filling in at various branch locations
Greets walk-in guests with a warm greeting and helps guests or directs them to the appropriate team memberAnswers and directs phone calls to appropriate team membersAnswers general questions and provides payment receipts to customersAttends at least two marketing events annuallyCoordinates with other team members on marketing, office supplies, activities and other events for the regionRuns daily and monthly reports regarding DFM, Drafts, ACH, LB, FTC, BLS and others as assignedIdentifies when to post transactions or make changes to an accountObtains approval from Lending Officer or RVPScans approved report into OnBasePosts monthly payment information to Teller based on data from NGSInitiates wiresDisburses loan feesSends accounts payable and ACH's to accounting for paymentDetermines if checks need to go to bank or through machineProcesses checks according to timelinesBalances Check21 inputs dailyMinimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree or experience equivalent to perform the essential functions of the jobLending Specialist - 1 year of experienceTravel Requirements
