Sales Assistant - Japanese Bilingual

We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant(Inside Sales) for a Japanese electrical component distributor.

SUMMARY

Support sales activity under Sales Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Communicate with customers and vendors getting orders, answering questions, responding to complaints, resolving problems, issuing quotes, etc.
• Communicate with other staff proceeding with the above activity.
• Enters data into the operation system as needed.
• Completes various reports related to sales, shipping, and raw materials.
• Check customers' EDI (Electronic Data Interchanges) files and take proper action from them.
• Ensures that the backlog matches customers' open purchase orders.
• Coordinates month-end activities.
• Review sales orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Works closely with other departments to ensure good communication to meet customer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

Two years of college or associate's degree; or six months to one-year

SKILLS

correspondence, agreements, instructions, sales orders, freight documents, etc.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to

customers, vendors, or employees of the organization in Japanese and English.

Working hours : 8 : 00~16 : 30 (Monday-Friday)

Location : Irving, TX (A hybrid work arrangement will be available after the probationary period)
