Supply Chain Planning Specialist

The Supply Chain Planning Specialist is responsible for :
- Supporting supply network planning for Acclarent. Works with transactional steps such as purchase requisition and purchase order creation following established procedures.
- Supports the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and is responsible for attaining key performance indicators including inventory (gross / net dollars, DOS), Slow Moving / Obsolete, and customer service (backorder reduction) for Acclarent business. Responsible for attaining and driving improvements to Key Performance Indicators, including inventory entitlement, Slow Moving / Obsolete, and customer service (backorder reduction).
- Lead / facilitate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for assigned product portfolio in order to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
- Support long-term supply chain strategy.
- Create and utilize analytical tools to support issue resolution, decision making, and execution oversight.
- Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, External Operations, NPI, R&D, and Quality.
- Support and influence business planning and financial planning processes.
- Develops and effectively implements supply chain solutions, processes, and systems improvements.
- Support and / or lead supply chain / planning projects as needed (e.g. improve supply chain flexibility, reduce costs, create procedures, etc.).
- Drive supply chain activities for assigned product portfolio including new product launch planning, inventory planning, and supply network planning.
- Prepare related presentations for senior management with minimal coaching as required.
- Internally this position will interact daily with various cross-functional team members including supply chain, finance, regulatory, commercial, quality, etc.
- Externally this position may have interactions with customers, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year supply chain, operations, finance, and / or marketing experience is required.High proficiency and advanced understanding in Microsoft Excel is required.Proven data analytics / quantitative skills are required.High sense of urgency, adaptable to meet rapidly changing priorities.Bachelor's degree, master's degree or MBA is preferred.Proven track record of challenging the "status-quo", visualizing potential opportunities and implementing actions to build value.Experience in scenario planning is preferred.Understanding of planning system functionality, planning parameters, data integrity, net requirement inputs, and integration into S&OP and supply chain processes is preferred.Manugistics, JDE, or SAP, Microsoft Access and / or SQL proficiency experience is preferred.Six Sigma, LEAN Green Belt, or APICS certification preferred.Salary Pay Range : $71,300.00 - $97,750.00 USD Salary. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
