Position Overview

Our Senior CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist will set up and operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts per work

order / drawing requirements in a safety-conscious and quality-focused manner. The role is accountable to load parts in the machine, cycle the machine and detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.

Requirements : Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience with setting up and operating CNC Mill or CNC Lathe
• machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skill
• Ability to read blueprints and has knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to do First Article Inspections
• Ability to maintain close tolerances up to 0.0001 of an inch
• Familiar with Fanuc Controls and Mazak Controls
• Familiar with Doosan, Mazak, Nakamura, Allan Bradley (Lathe)
• Familiar with Mitsui-Seiki, Yasda, Fadal, Haas, Matsura (Mill)
• Ability to use and machine shop tools EX : micrometers, calipers, indicators
• Must have ability to apply basic math skills required
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. required
• Knowledge of Aerospace standards (ex. AS9100, ISO9001) preferred
