Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Apigee Architect to join our growing team. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic pre-sales engagement, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in both solution design and client-facing environments. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of API management solutions using Google Apigee, while also supporting sales teams in crafting compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership

• Architect and implement scalable API solutions using Google Apigee X / Hybrid.
• Design API proxies, policies, and security models (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
• Lead integration efforts with backend systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Define and enforce API governance, lifecycle management, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams on Apigee and API design.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $202,730. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
