We are looking for a detail-oriented bilingual Accounting Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring smooth accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone skilled in QuickBooks, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial records and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and organized accounting information.
- Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues related to transactions.
- Assist in generating financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment and billing inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Support general accounting operations and administrative tasks as needed.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
