Senior network engineer

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, implement, manage, and support our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture, routing and switching, firewalls, and cloud networking, with a proven ability to lead network projects from planning through execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
• 7 years of experience in Firewall Administration - Security Management (IT IS)
• Strong expertise in routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.)
• Experience with firewall configuration (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar)
• Proficiency in VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access)
• Experience with load balancers (F5, Citrix Client, etc.)
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, etc.)
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco or Juniper network hardware
• Solid understanding of network security best practices
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
