DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Maintenance Foreman, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of SCI Phoenix. Your work will involve overseeing inmate work crews and the performance of various maintenance, repair, construction, groundskeeping, and janitorial tasks within and around the facility. In addition, you will also be responsible for performing or assisting with semi-skilled and skilled journey-level work in one or more trades. Part of your role will involve issuing and inventorying all materials and tools used for work assignments, conducting searches of inmates and work areas to ensure accountability, and determining the materials and tools needed for future assignments. You will also be responsible for submitting purchase requests for any necessary materials and tools. Your attention to detail and leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining the safety and functionality of the facility.
