Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM5 : 00 PM (4 days in office, no Mondays from home)

Type : 4 month contract-to-hire

Pay Rate : $29-31.25 / hr

Overview Our client, a respected healthcare organization, is conducting a passive search for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle team. They are looking for the right fitsomeone who can bring strength, leadership, and expertise to a team of six collectors. This position could be ideal for either a hands-on collections expert or a lead / supervisory-level professional with the ability to mentor and elevate others.

Responsibilities Manage full-cycle AR collections and payer follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement.

Handle insurance claim resolution and correspondence with payers to minimize outstanding balances.

Identify, research, and resolve aged claims and denials.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing and collection workflows.

Support or lead AR staff, depending on experience level, fostering accountability and performance.

Contribute to ongoing process improvement and assist with system conversions such as NetSmart.

Qualifications 810 years of medical collections experience required.

Strong understanding of insurance billing, payer processes, and denial management.

Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Experience with NetSmart or similar EHR systems is a strong plus.
