Overview
We are seeking a Contract Administration Manager II to support a large-scale public sector organization in Austin, TX. This position plays a key role in executing, administering, and monitoring complex contracts that directly impact organizational operations and service delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in managing contract lifecycle from development through execution and compliance monitoring.

Major Duties
- Oversee the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Prepare and review scopes of work, specifications, and contract conditions.
- Lead negotiation strategies and make recommendations for contract awards.
- Monitor vendor performance and develop key performance metrics to ensure accountability and quality.
- Conduct site visits to review contractor billings, fiscal data, and compliance documentation.
- Investigate and resolve contract discrepancies, disputes, and complaints; manage settlements or terminations when necessary.
- Assist with contract budgets, review allocations, and provide budget forecasts and recommendations.
- Initiate and manage special studies or surveys to assess program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Ensure management understanding and authorization of contract terms and obligations.
What We're Looking For
Experience in contract administration, management, evaluation, or monitoring of contract providers.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field (experience may substitute for education).Strong understanding of negotiation strategies, contract cost monitoring, and vendor performance evaluation.Working knowledge of state and federal regulations related to funding and contract management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related contract management systems.Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead contract-related initiatives.Preferred Qualifications
Valid Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) or Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) certification.Previous experience managing large-scale or high-dollar public sector contracts.Demonstrated success in vendor relations, compliance oversight, or budget forecasting.Exciting Opportunity Details
