Overview :
Staff Accountant – Contract-to-Hire – Southwest Indianapolis
Location : Onsite
Schedule : M – F 8am to 5pm (some flexibility around core hours)
Pay Rate $26 - $31 an hour

LHH is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant in Southwest Indianapolis. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity within the Manufacturing Industry.

Position Summary :
Review and input invoices for payables and receivables
Review, analyze, and match POs, receivers, and vendor invoices
Create payments in accounting and banking systems
Record payments from customers; collections activity (low volume)
Verify discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues
Analyze vendor and product costs
Collaborate with inventory accounting to perfect bills of material and product costing
Assist Controller in month-end and year-end closing
Required Skills & Qualifications :
3+ years of accounting experience
Degree in accounting / finance preferred (not required)
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with inventory costing, collections, and payroll preferred
Pay Details : $26 - 31 per hour
Pay Details : $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
