job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTrack and reconcile inventory across multiple unit types. Support purchase order processing and sales order documentation. Monitor delivery schedules and lead times to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist with brand registrations and compliance reporting for California and out-of-state markets. Provide documentation and reporting support for TTB requirements, including COLA and CBMA filings. Maintain insurance and vendor compliance documentation, including supplier Certificates of Insurance (ACORDs). Provide variance analysis and reporting to leadership on expenses, sales, and inventory. Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency. Assist Controller with special projects, financial modeling, and business planning. Education : Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred). Experience : 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within consumer goods, beverage, or distribution. Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of GAAP; proficient in Excel and accounting / ERP systems. Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with alcohol / beverage compliance (TTB, COLA, CBMA) is a plus. Detail-Oriented : Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Communication : Ability to clearly communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial team members.

Core ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Operations
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
- Assist with preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Support the company’s external CPA with tax filings and annual audit requirements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
