Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Specialist

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Specialist to join our team of Finance professionals in Hanover, PA. The A / R Collections Specialist is responsible for investigation of invoice and / or payment discrepancies, communication with customers, and execution duties according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

• Utilize the Collections Module, ERP, Cash Application system, Distribution portals, Transportation and Trade Spend system
• Review past due balances for assigned customers and contact them requesting payment
• Research and resolve unapplied payments on customer accounts
• Research invoicing and / or payment issues
• Foster positive written and / or verbal customer relationships
• Identify payment exceptions and investigate root causes
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive notes on customer issues
• Report weekly and monthly status of customer collections
• Complete other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives
