This is a hybrid position Position : EHS Data Specialist Direct Reports : Individual Contributor Reports To : Corporate EHS Manager Salary Range : $60k to $75k DOE Bonus : 5% Relocation : Hybrid Job Responsibilities : The EHS Data Specialist is responsible for supporting and advancing the digital platforms that power the EHS and PSM programs. This role will be key in ensuring data integrity, compliance readiness, and the development of smarter, more proactive tools to guide enterprise-wide decision making. As the primary administrator and technical liaison for EHS and PSM systems, the EHS Data Specialist will work closely with corporate and site-level teams to identify opportunities for improvement, innovate new solutions, and enable the next generation of EHS performance systems. Conduct on-site testing activities such as plumbing inspections, welding inspections, equipment verification, and other procedures required by client or regulatory standards. Manage user access, system configuration, and content across multiple EHS and process safety platforms. Maintain accuracy of incident reporting, audit tracking, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) records. Support contractor onboarding, training assignments, and SDS eBinder management. Develop and support maintenance of compliance calendars and digital communication tools. Identify and implement opportunities to improve system functionality and user experience. Provide user support for training, reporting, and documentation processes. Maintain controlled documents in SharePoint and ensure compliance with review cycles. Standardize and streamline training and document processes to drive efficiency. Compile and distribute monthly EHS and process safety performance reports. Lead data trending reviews and dashboard development using Power BI. Serve as the subject matter expert for analytics and reporting enhancements. Proactively recommend new metrics and dashboards to support continuous improvement. Leverage system integrations (including APIs) to connect EHS platforms with Power BI and other reporting tools. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Information Systems, or related STEM discipline required. 2+ years of experience supporting EHS data systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple platforms and data sources. Excellent communication skills; ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to innovate, improve process, and advance system capabilities. Must be willing to travel 10-20% to support site teams and collaborate on projects. Experience with EHS / Compliance platforms such as EXP, dss+, Frontline, VelocityEHS, AppSpace, SharePoint. Experience with data integration, APIs, or system connections preferred.
