Title : Music Therapist (Director of Recreation)
Schedule : Full Time
Responsibilities
- Create and lead the recreational program with recreational activities, hobby and interest building, physical activities, and events throughout the year.
- Support clients in a holistic approach where recreation is one facet of wellness alongside behavioral skill building, medication support, dietary teaching, and pre-vocational training.
- Contribute to helping clients develop skills to thrive and live independently in their community.
Qualifications
Must have a bachelor’s degree as an occupational therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, art therapist, or recreation therapist.Must be registered or eligible for registration as an occupational therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, art therapist, or recreation therapist.Must have a valid California driver’s license.Must have a current CPR certification is preferred.Must have two (2) years' experience in a social or recreational program within the past five (5) years, one year of which was full-time in a client activities program in a healthcare setting.Benefits

Pay Range : $35 - $45 USD per hour
