Role Overview :

The Sourcing Strategist / Senior Buyer will assist the Senior Director of Supply Chain with sourcing and purchasing of materials, driving continuous internal procurement improvement, supplier performance, and relationship management.

A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role :

• Interact with plant managers at all manufacturing facilities in the US and Canada, planning and creating purchase orders for raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect spending.
• Work closely at a detailed level with suppliers and manufacturing locations, monitoring inbound raw material movements, resolving day-to-day material flow deviations, and reconciling purchasing / invoicing discrepancies as they arise.
• Assist the Senior Director of Supply Chain in requesting and researching new suppliers, and evaluating suppliers, bids, costs, and quality.
• Prepare cost sheets for sales management across each of the businesses.
