job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to help maintain authorized access. Provide customer service by interacting professionally with visitors, employees, and delivery personnel, addressing inquiries and assisting with directions as needed. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment for staff and assets. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel when necessary. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions. Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily logs or reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures and coordination with emergency services, as appropriate for the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a Security Officer Access Control Logistics in Mount Juliet, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.
