Project Overview : Bechtel has been providing program, project, and construction management services for Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) for the past 36 years. The project team helps RCTC to implement "Measure A", the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) / Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS) and adopted plans and programs in compliance with state and federal requirements with the goal of providing the residents of Riverside County greater mobility, improved quality of life, operational excellence, and economic vitality.

Bechtel is seeking a Project Coordinator / Manager to join the Riverside, California team. This team oversees the planning, environmental clearance, design, and construction of projects on the state highway system, under California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) oversight and following Caltrans' standards and procedures, and on commuter and freight rail lines, under Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) or Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF), and Union Pacific Railroad (UP) oversight and following their standards.

Responsibilities :

• Support with the planning, organization, and administration of contract procurement of professional services.
• Provide project oversight, analysis, and input through all phases of project development and delivery.
• Monitor the consultants progress and schedule and ensure they are progressing the work.

Education and Experience Requirements : University Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. 10+ years of hands-on experience in the Environmental Clearance or Design and management of transportation related projects under the authority of a State Department of Transportation.
