Salary : The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual pay rate offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications and / or location.

Position Summary
The Mechanic Shop Supervisor will report directly to the Regional Manager and work cohesively with them to prioritize and assign work to the GSE Mechanics working in the shop.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsAssigned daily work assignment based on priorities set by Regional ManagerMotivate direct reports through effective communication, training and developmentEnsure projects meet timeline objectives through management of direct reportsDaily review of Maintenance Information System (MIS) for accuracy and work completedConduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals and communicate weekly work plansReview times cards daily, correct any punch in / out issues and approve PTOCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsAssigned daily work assignment based on priorities set by Operation ManagerMotivate direct reports through effective communication, training and developmentEnsure projects meet timeline objectives through management of direct reportsDaily review of Maintenance Information System (MIS) for accuracy and work completedConduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals and communicate weekly work plansReview times cards daily, correct any punch in / out issues and approve PTOQualifications and Experience

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategiesAbility to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, data, property, etc.Knowledge of applicable machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Med / Heavy Truck Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.Familiarity with the use of repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics (electrical and hydraulic) necessary to troubleshoot and / or repair failed components.Average to advanced computer skills necessary with an aptitude to acquire increased skills preferred.Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas).Must be able to properly lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.Ability to work in all weather conditions.Must possess the hand tools necessary to perform assigned tasks.Other Skills and Abilities
