Senior Engineer, Application Development and Maintenance

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer to support the Pricing applications under Revenue Management team in Pharmaceutical Segment. This position will work with the different business teams on Revenue Management to design, integrate and improve the SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support of in-built Java based applications that are used for Pricing and Contract management.
• Enable designing, implementing, and securing microservices and APIs, using : Spring Boot, REST, Messaging, ORM, and Spring Security with OAuth 2, Hibernate.
• Guide complex fit / gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit / gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensure deviations from "out of the box" functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition.
• Identify synergies and optimization areas within the business processes and the applications and manage the execution.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and changes in business processes.
• Be customer focused with a deep understanding of business needs.
• Drive end-user satisfaction by using specific metrics.
• Identify areas to optimize, automate and reduce manual workloads and follow through on those optimizations.
• Ensure all critical processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents.
• Closely work with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and stable operations.
• Accountable for IT controls, SOX compliance, and audit findings.
• Responsible for the KPIs and BPM metrics that support current and future Pharma business units.
• Monitor the team's ticket queues (ServiceNow / Jira) and work through tickets.

Anticipated salary range : $121,600 - $173,700
