What Your Job Will Be Like

We are looking for individuals that are excited about PCB design and seeking real world experience to jump start their careers while working with our Electrical CAD design group.

On any given day, you may be called on to :

• Responsible for engaging with other engineering disciplines to define the scope of the project for execution

Salary Range

Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. About Our Team

Sandia's Design Engineering Group consists of multiple electrical design departments that provide design engineering services using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Mentor Xpedition and other ECAD tools. We partner with engineering teams across the lab to produce innovative design solutions based on high-quality CAD models and electrical drawings. We communicate design options and recommended approaches to product development teams, stakeholders, and manufacturing partners. We apply technical judgment based upon engineering principles in the design and development of innovative products in support of our Nations security programs. Security Clearance

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment / education verifications. NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
