American Health Connection is hiring for Remote Patient Service Representatives. This is a regular, full-time, direct hire position with virtual training, full benefits and is 100% remote .
For over 16 years, American Health Connection has provided patients with full-service, virtual central scheduling and communications services. Each Agent is assigned to a team that supports a medical health system client. AHC is the nations first healthcare-dedicated centralized scheduling provider.
What Youll Do :
This is a virtual call center position, so Agents can expect to handle 80+ calls back-to-back per shift.
Use exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal and proper phone etiquette.
Medical front office duties - scheduling appts, verifying insurance and updating demographics.
What You Bring to the Table :
At least 1- 2 years of high-volume patient scheduling experience in a call center environment is required.
Electronic medical record system (EMR / HER) experience is highly preferred.
Proficient and self-sufficient on a desktop computer and have a sense of urgency
We require a private, noise-free, HIPAA-compliant space at home.
FULL-TIME DAY SHIFTS AVAILABLE :
Day shifts available
Monday Friday and must be available for ONE weekend per month.
Pay starts at $17 / hr
