Fp&A Analyst, Operations Finance
As an FP&A Analyst, and part of our dynamic finance team, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis, driving critical business decisions and contributing to the overall success of the organization. Success in this role will be derived from strong analytical skills, a detail orientation and a background in finance with a passion for strategic financial planning.
This is a highly visible role where leading by example is necessary to drive change and make a positive impact on project and business outcomes.
Essential Functions & Requirements :
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
- Collaborates with Operations and Sales Operations teams to facilitate the annual operations budget, ensuring alignment with sales budget and with overall business objectives and financial targets
- Facilitates a rolling forecasting process with the Operations and Sales Operations teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accurate financial forecasting for near- and long-term supply / demand and operational capacity and capability
- Assists in the annual budget process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, analyze trends, and develop accurate forecasts
- Develops and maintains financial models, forecasting tools, and dashboards to support ongoing financial analysis and reporting needs, leveraging and enhancing the existing Oracle EPM environment
- Partners with corporate leadership to facilitate rolling forecasting and capture changes in the corporate departments, aligning with business needs
- Prepares standard monthly / quarterly reports for leadership review, providing insights into performance and action plans for necessary changes
- Conducts variance analysis to identify key performance drivers and presents findings to senior management, offering actionable recommendations
- Monitors and analyzes key financial metrics, identifying trends and potential risks or opportunities for the business
- Collaborates with various stakeholders to provide ad-hoc financial analysis, support decision-making processes, and evaluate business initiatives and capital allocation decisions
- Ensures compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintains the ability to travel up to 15%
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics or related field (required)Experience :
3+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (required)Previous experience in a corporate environment (preferred)Proficient experience utilizing Microsoft Excel (required)Previous experience with Oracle EPM or Microsoft Power BI (preferred)Competencies :
