Our client is seeking a hands-on SOC Manager to lead daily cybersecurity operations and guide a team of skilled analysts in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats. This role blends tactical execution with team leadership, ensuring our Security Operations Center runs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day SOC operations, ensuring timely detection and response to security incidents.
Lead and mentor a team of analysts and engineers in monitoring, triage, and remediation.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents.
Develop, maintain, and enforce SOC processes, runbooks, and incident response protocols.
Collaborate with IT, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management teams to enhance defenses.
Track and report SOC metrics, performance indicators, and operational improvements.
Ensure alignment with security policies, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
Required Qualifications
7+ years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a SOC leadership role.
Proven experience in managing teams within a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong understanding of SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, and incident response workflows.
Relevant certification (CISM, CISSP, or equivalent).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or maturing a SOC function.
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF.
Background in regulated sectors (finance, government, healthcare).

The pay range for this position is $180000.00 - $180000.00 / yr.
