Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at a leading medical facility in Athens, OH. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a community-focused environment while supporting a team of dedicated medical professionals.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists.
• Provide newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists.
• Manage 24 / 7 on-call coverage round and go model with call from home.
• Perform circumcisions as part of Pediatric practice.
• Offer expert Pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department, ensuring timely assessments and recommendations for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate closely with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Engage in knowledge exchange with a large network of Pediatrix providers.
