Lead Account Manager | Commercial Lines
THE OBJECTIVE : Act as the firm's premier client advocate, operating with a high degree of autonomy to ensure the flawless servicing and coordination of assigned commercial accounts. This role is instrumental in supporting Production staff and maintaining the highest standard of client experience.
Key Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of five years of agency customer service experience within the commercial sector.
Licensure : Active Property & Casualty License is required.
Knowledge Base :
Thorough command of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty coverages.
Familiarity with carrier underwriting rules and operational guidelines.
Education : A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or demonstrable equivalent experience in the industry.
Professional Traits : Superior written and verbal communication, an acute sense of urgency, and meticulous attention to detail.
Ethics : Must embody the firm's core values and adhere to a strict code of ethics.
Organizational Mastery : Exceptional organizational skills are essential for managing a complex book of business.
Core Responsibilities :
Service Excellence : Deliver the highest level of customer service in servicing, supporting, and coordinating client accounts, which may occasionally require outside service visits.
File Integrity : Responsible for maintaining accurate, consistent client files and ensuring all documentation and communication adhere to company workflows and procedures.
System Adherence : Maintain a high degree of accuracy in the agency management and document management systems, strictly following defined system workflows (e.g., Epic procedures).
Client Communication : Respond promptly to all client inquiries, requests for information, and general insurance questions, meticulously documenting communications and issue resolutions.
Coverage Oversight : Handle the full spectrum of Commercial Lines servicing. Proactively monitor policy expirations to prevent any lapse in coverage.
Policy Fulfillment : Order, issue, and verify the accuracy of binders, certificates, endorsements, and policies, delivering them to the client with appropriate correspondence.
Issue Resolution : Take ownership of resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues with carriers.
Team Support : Responsible for the effective servicing of the assigned book, including delegation of tasks to team members, and supporting Producers and Account Executives as needed.
